ProgrammaThe European Night of Museums is a good opportunity for the whole family, the time of an evening, to discover or rediscover the exceptional collections at Agde and cap d'Agde museums.

« La classe, l’œuvre ! » (The class, the work); "The Four Seasons". This year the Museum of Agde allows you to discover its Art Nouveau furniture collection created for the Emmanuel Laurens villa by Léon Cauvy.
Within the famework of "The class, the work" national operation and proposed by the ministers of culture and national education, schoolchildrens from class C.E.1 of the Victor Hugo hight school will facilitate a mediation dedicated to the four Léon Cauvy's chairs that used to be part of the small apartments' living room of Emmanuel Laurens. This mediation will include visual arts and writing jobs presentation around the theme of "The Four Seasons" and Art nouveau in collaboration with the artistic painter Matthieu Capelier. ‘'L'Étoile d'Orient'' (Oriental Star or Eastern Star), a second mediation project will be led by schoolchildrens from class C.E.1 and C.E.2 of the Jules Ferry hight school around the theme of ex-votos at Notre-Dame du Grau d'Agde, and more precisely around one of them ''L'Etoile d'Orient''', a watercolour depicting a stricken brig that run aground in April 1846. From 6pm to midnight: free tour of the permanent collections (gates close at 11:30pm).
