Programma

Traditional festivity held in the region since the 9th century. Celebration of "Saint Blaise" the patron saint of Pézenas. Processions, carnival parade, religious célébrations punctuate this festive period from Fat Tuesday to Lent. Carnival in Pézenas particularly focuses on its totemic animal the foal around which all the population dressed in long white shirts and nightcaps dances to the music of oboes and fifes.
